Bought this on e-bay and went to Detroit and brought it back to St. Louis. I drove it home and have driven it all over the country side and happy to report I have no mechanical qestions because nothing has gone wrong, yet. Between this forum and the St. Louis Sharks I believe I can fix anything that breaks, I hope. So far it is cool as can be...
What mods/improvements have you planned for it? I've been through my '80 L48 since purchase in '97. Nearly all mechanicals are new and I finished the interior in late 2004.

Well... last night I spent the evening replacing the radio that Bubba had put in with one that does the job as well as has XM on it. It now sounds fine. I think I will hold off on any other mods untill I get into the summer. I assume it will eventually get a better motor and then I will need new tires... But fro now, nothing. Just going to enjoy. I am sure that it will change. I have never owned a stock vehical yet. Even the motorcycle is hopped up!!!
Hummmm... extrapolate... that means I need to cypher sumptin, right?

That's a beautiful car. Saw one like it at a cruise-in one time in Fresno, CA. Everyone was admiring and commenting on the color.
It is almost 70 here today and I feel that I MUST take the tops out and go for a ride. I am sure it will make the rest of the day much better! I need to see if the new radio can work over the wind noise...
