If I walk into one of the neighborhood auto parts store and ask for something for my ZZ4 (exhaust manifold gasket, oil filter, etc) I just get a blank look. They want to know the year and model of Chevrolet I have, that's what they need to look up part numbers. So, can someone say what can I tell them so they can use their part number books? Thanks.
For the oil filter, I just got an oil filter for a 1990 SB Corvette (I think that's what I asked for, and it fit). For my D port exhaust headers, I just called one of the standard parts houses, and they knew what to sell me. For the D parts, the AutoZone guy was clueless.
