sill plate question
will the full sill plates work in the later model C3s?
i have a 78 and dont like that thin stainless strip
holding the carpet in place.
definitely prefer the full sill plates used in the earlier cars.

Get the custom sill plates from Corvette Central, or Mid-America. Basically they send another thin OEM like sill plate and a Black Metal center piece with "Corvette" stinciled into the metal - very cool looking you sandwich the black center between the two metal sill plates - drill two new holes is all it takes per new sill plate.

thats what I did with mine except that I have the brushed stainless with Corvette engraved.....................
