Sure would like to drop nose down 1" on 69 similar to 78..But oil pan is already 4" off pavement....figure if I swap new coils(550's) then I can go from there...(78 coils cut long ago.)..don't want to drop rear of 69 till front resolved...another type 6 quart oil pan may be the answer..??
Got exactly I" difference between the two with same size tires on front..69(245-60-15 front,255 rear) 78(245-60-15 front/rear)

What kind of oil pan are you running? I have the 6qt Moroso and my fender lip is 26.5." I got 4" clearance at the pan. 3.5" at the side exhaust.

The pan came with the 502 crate motor...sounds like the Moroso is the answer...right now my 69 fender lip is 27.5"......the Moroso must be I" shallower..that would be perfect...what size tires are you running up front ? Thanks for the info....
