Default 2 1/2" wide spring liners

does anyone know where to find replacement spring liners for the 2 1/2" springs? I've tried most of the major online parts houses and some local places too and all they have is the 2 1/4" kits

Have you tried contacting a real spring shop ? (not a parts store)
They should be able to get (or have) most all sizes for all applications.

BTW - you must have a HD rear end cover - from when they were all made for 2 1/2" springs. I have one, too.
Previously, I was running the 2 1/4" spring with the steel spacers
that are stock for HP suspension in 78-79 (I think these years).

I am contemplating a 9 leaf 2 1/2" spring. Is this what you have ?
If so, how do you like the handling/ride ?\

I imagine it must be a bit firmer than the 9 leaf 2 1/4" spring.

I've tried the local corvette shop that claims to stock all the "hard to find restoration parts" Haven't tried any specialty susepension places yet.
This is the spring that was on the car when I got it last year, and I assumed it was original until I tried getting replacement liners for it. Also the rear suspension is pretty shot, which is why I'm rebuilding it all now, so I don't have anything to compare it to as a reference. I've already stripped and repainted the leaves, so I'd like to avoid buying a whole new spring. The old liners were the tin sheet metal ones, maybe there's a way to make up some new ones on the cheap.
