Appraisels-free

Talked to my insurance guy last week about agreed value insurance on the Vettes. I have Hagerty on the white 79. Quoted me almost half for the same coverage, limited use because of antique plates. Questioned him on the others, just comp as I seldom drive them. Needed an appraisel. BUT...he has an arrangement with the body shop next door, if customers ask, he refers them there. In exchange, body shop does certified appraisels. He made arrangements for the guy to come out to my house and do all 4. Appraiser accepted MY input as to the value of the Vettes, saw no problem, even higher than my estimates.
4 appraisels, free. I had offered to pay something to come to my house for it but was refused.
Anyway, something to check into if you have a good insurance guy

i didnt want the antique plates, didnt want the hassles from cops ect,,, i just get a exemption every year from air testing got a appraisel, and sent it w/ web site of resto and got 35000 coverage for 250 a year no deductables
