CE owners,please read
We are very close to new hinges for our back windows.A guy over at 82ceregistry.com has made a pair of prototype hinges copied from the originals as close as he can get.They are made out of solid alum.He went on vacation this week so we are waiting for his return.He has mounted the prototypes on his wifes car and hasn't yet posted the findings.If you are interested in buying a pair(these will last forever)go to the web site and check out the threadd.He does have pics.If enough of us are willing to buy a pair the price might go down.Right now he's looking at $150.00 a pair,est.I've allready put my name in the hat.This guy has done a fantastic job at getting these done.Well worth a peak.Yours might be fine right now but they will spread out in time.I see originals on ebay from time to time ALL are USED so you don't know if their any better than the one you have and they are asking a lot more than $150.00

I don't have a CE, but $150 sounds like a deal for those hinges. Maybe he could make the rest of the parts and offer a conversion kit for 78-82 rear windows - I bet a lot of people would pay $300-$500 for a good, reliable kit.
