probably. I took my 78 to the shop and had the speedo calibrated. He said that he noticed the needle was broken. He said he could order the parts for both the speedo and tach and that it is really easy to replace. Didn't ask how much though. He was in the process of replacing both needles on a 82 vette at the time, so it's possible. Depends on your year though I guess.
ya, it's for my 78. any idea where he was going to order it from? they simply just pull off to be replaced. the corvette parts vendors don't list any except for the midyears.
I replaced mine on my 70, got the new needle from Corvette Central, it just presses on. The worst part is getting the tach out of the dash or should I say putting it back again, a real PIA.
