I know it angles in and up there, but the bottom looks funny in your pics, like it is bent and bulged. Better check for straightness.
Roger that, Twin Turbo! I'll have the frame checked regardless. Heres another shot looking forward at the same location on the frame rail. What do you think?
hey just something i don't know if you were aware of or not, but that car says 81 with and L82....There is no such thing. All 1981 corvettes are L-81's thats the only option offered. Just so you know what bought. Anyway...good luck

looks good, however the top of that post say L-82 corvette. If this a 1981 it is an L 81...that is the only motor available in 1981...you may know that but i didnt know since the post was incorrect. Its in the 7th line of that invoice...you can see it in the picture on here if you look close enough to see through the blur. Good Luck guys!
Thanks Guys! I use Microsoft Publisher to write the newsletter then save each page as a jpeg for posting to photobucket. I have also converted to pdf for emailing to friends and family who like to follow along.
After the first issue, its just a matter of editing the text and photos. Am working on posting all this to a personal homepage very soon.
Looking good! I have a 1964 Convertible Corvair that my 15 year old has his eyes on. I started him off stripping the car as well. While rebuilding my Harley, I found out quick that stopping to take pics all the time is a real time consumer so I can appreciate the effort your putting into it and sharing it. I hope the boy doesn't burn out and actually enjoys it (yours and mine!). I know your enjoying spending time with him now, but when he gets our age, he sure will be cherish the time he spent with the old man. Keep him up on all the responses here. It just might keep him siked about the car. Hell, let HIM tell us about some of it from his view point. Good luck.
