In fact, it's hard to tell a Viper from a C6 when looking from the side. They are too much like a bar of soap...
I don't know...I think the C6 has quite a bit of the C3 style in it, especially the tall front fenders. Maybe I'm nuts, but i can see alot of C3 in the C6 when i see it.

Also, the C3 made people stop in their tracks alot more because there was WAY less to compare it to, or distract you from noticing it back then.....

I don't really like the C6 styling but i do like the Z06 version. Still wouldn't give up the c2 or even c3 for it. Just something about cruising in a nice old Vette. Now a nice used C5 Z06 parked next to a C2 and C3 would be a very nice thing

Here's a cool pic of a black Z06 I saw at the NCM. My wife took me there for my birthday. Is she a keeper or what?!

The guy I bought my Z16 from has a black on black C6 Z06...incredible car. He's even "blacked" it out - wheels, lights - looks very menacing.

I agree with others on the C6 styling, miss the pop-up headlights but the curves are back baby…on the front fenders anyway.

However, I like the C5 Z06 stance/FRC styling better than the fastback look of the C6 Z06…having said that, my first love will remain the C3 styling…nothing short of a work of art!

TSAGG,i agree there is alot of the C3 in the new Z06.When i sat in one at corvettes at carlisle the view of the hood, the view of the fenders reminded me of my 70....JERRY

Drop the LS7 in a C3 and now you got something.

Well, its all about technology, weight and complexity. AND from 1953 to 1962 the Corvette had fixed lights.
