that looks like a profesional downdraft booth. have the painter sand it. unless the booth was rented, then actually if you preped and painted it you can color sand it, it is not hard. good luck
3M dark color buffing compound = $30
1000-2000 grit wet/dry sandpaper = $20
Foam pad for buffing wheel = $=10 (for 2 pads)
3M hand glaze = $20
The foam pads are 20 each if you get the good waffle pads. It's not that hard to wet sand and polish out yourself. I did it and it turned out very good.

I decided to do my '82 in the same C6 blue after seeing it at the Chevrolet C6 display. I took of a boat load of the C6 with this blue due to the color.
Looks GREAT, can't wait to see the photos of it polished and outdoors. Please post.
Did you do all the prep and shoot it yourself or did you find someone in AL that can do decent work?
I did do all the prep but frankly, after attempting the pain, er uh, paint process once myself, I humbly bowed out and paid a guy for his labor. Local connection...

went by to check it out today and it was sitting out in the sun...I am very pleased and can't wait for a good color sand and buff. Will post a few pics later tonight of it sittin' out in the daylight
