Thanks folks...I was really picky about what I wanted on this one and was concerned how this color would look on the curvy lines of a C3. I am happy now

Default I did mine in the driveway

I did the body work, stripped it ,put on the stinger hood and painted it.
Color sanded. and buffed it all in the driveway last July. If you have some patience and stay off the edges you can do it yourself, Use a dual speed buffer and about every 2 minutes use a screwdriver on the pad to keep it clean. The trick to not burning the paint is to keep moving and keep the pad clean. Wet sand with 1200 grit. Use lots of water. Looks real good you did a nice job.

$300 labor, I did all the body work and prep but he did some final sanding before spraying and added the door jams in so I will probably bump him some extra. I will be pleased once the hood issues are corrected. It's getting a 4 wheel alignment today...

If you have it put back together We ( Vets with Vettes ) are working a car show on Airport Rd at the Muesum on the 15th tomorrow from 9-3 sure would like to see the new paint .
