Did anyone watch Pinks on Tuesday night (Speed TV)??? Was that a Rustang with a Chevy engine (355 cu in I think) drag racing a Honda Civic (of course heavily modified)?? I do know that the Rustang won all of the races, one of them even handicapping a 10 or 15 car length!!!

Yeah that is what it was. The Mustang mopped the floor with the Civic even though I didnt like the Mustang's group of guys. Did you see the one before that where the two bikes were racing? The guy that won was a little b#$tch.

In the bike episode the host said that the guy was paid $5500.00 to appear on the show, if thats all they get I would think they are losing a lot of money when they lose their rides.

Im addicted to Pinks now hahaha.

That race was not even at all. The Mustang claimed to be a 13 second car. He would just wait until the end of the track and spray right past the Honda. Thee is a good article in Hot Rod about the show.

Those bike races are intense!! Cant believe how fast they can modify the gears before each race!!

I do agree that the Mustang was playing with the civic. It had to be a much faster car....I wonder what the new owner of the civic did with his new Japanese car??

I listened to an interview of one of the winners of this show on a camaroz28.com podcast. He beat a Honda and did get the car after winning. He said he was in negotiations with the show's loser to buy it back, but the winners actually do get the car.
