No way... The only issues a new C5 / C6 (especially right off the lot) can have are in the head of the driver...
Yes way....My YAW rate sensor went out that caused the ABS to activate the left front wheel and jerk the car into the oncoming lane. The dealership that repaired it has it on record. It did it with the tech that drove it.
Im gonna believe your statement was in jest. If you dont think New C5 or C6`s can have issues off the dealership floor...you are wrong

I am not sure on GM products but on the Fords and Toyotas I service the ABS can not activate the brakes. this would be a serious liability if it failed. ABS lets the pressure off of the caliper when the speed sensor on that wheel senses lock up. unless your foot is pressing the pedal there should be no brake fluid pressure at the calipers.
Hey - what a way to go tho - I have leukemia, in remission. Thats why I bought my fantasy Vette. I dont have long on earth, so I bought this thing to go cruising this summer.
If I go - I hope it's in my Vette. That way I can take it with me to Heaven. What could be better? Kicking it with St. Peter, and a 22 year old kid, who lost his life driving his dream.
Hope he's cruisin' in the clouds with a big smile on his face. I would be.

Dont know about all that, but can assure you it happened on this one.

You have my sympathy (for what it's worth). My nephew was diagnosed with it (ALL) when he was 4yo. He's had all sorts of horrendous treatments over the years (the bravest person I've ever met). He's going strong now & looking forward to leading a fairly normal life (or as normal a life he can have without physically maturing into an adult). Good luck fighting it, it really is a grade A **** disease
I've seen a few fatal accidents over the years & it's not a good idea to jump to conclusions as to who was to blame.
