Default I finally found it!

Just got back from looking at a Corvette. Put a deposit on it, agreed on sale price just waiting for title to reach the bank to complete the deal and take it home!

I finally found the money pit I mean car of my dreams! '69 small block, pretty rough but exactly what I've been looking for for a long time. Time to start looking for a donor 427 block.

Congrats nihil.
You will find that having a vette is like having a mistress you just cannot say no to. She keeps asking for upgrades and new shiny stuff, but you enjoy the ride so much, you never refuse...

Good job on finding the vette that you were looking for.

Sometimes the fun was in the search. Now that you have it, its time to start working on it and making it your own.

No real reason to stop with a 427, go bigger. Probably lots more 454s out there or you can go to the crate 572.

Congrats on the new ride. Just be sure to post up some pics when you get it.

Well, the title was apparently lost and the owner just got the duplicate title today! I am going to get 'er tomorrow! Just have to make it 50 miles without exploding.

Now there's only the matter of the brake lights not working... turn signal fuses blowing, and oil dripping onto the exhaust manifold.

Can't wait! Almost done!

why not get one of these instead of a wimpy 427?

http://www.shafiroff.com/ultrastreet/632_1000_bd.asp

It only costs $22,500....

This next one doesn't have a price.
