Default cluster guage lights

Do they make the plastic dash bulb light sockets for a C3 that will accomodate the new push in type bulbs ?? If so where can you get them?

I just replaced all mine. The bulbs in the center cluster are push in type bulbs.

Mine is a 69 and it has been a few years since I've had the dash out, but I think mine has the old push/twist kind. I could be wrong. What I wanted to do is replace all of mine with red bulbs. May be a little ricey but that's what i want to do.

We need more info. What year is your car. The older cars have sockets that the bulb pushed in and turned but the socket is just pushed into the hole. This also creates the ground path. I think on the newer cars the bulb goes in the same but the socket is inserted into some sort of circuit board that has the ground on it. Not sure when it changed. You can get any of the sockets from the big vendors. I don't think you can reto-fit from one to the other without changing the entire console assembly.

I would, but to change the bulbs is a pretty big job. I'm afraid that they will turn dark after a while. Like I said, mine is a 69. I thought all of the bulb sockets grounded theirselfs to a board or to the metal housing. So you don't think they will interchange, huh. Bummer
