Default dyeing interior parts

I bought a quart of dye from wilcox corvette(great prices)for my interior and I started to shoot the inside of my doors....What a magnificient job it did.
I was wondering if anyone has done their bucket seats with this stuff.I'm afraid it would rub off my clothes and i'm kinda undecided to try it.

What do you guys think?

It won't last and will rub off, that dye is best when used on harder plastics and trim or areas that don't see a whole lot of traffic.

You would come out better buying a set of new seat covers.

Also has a tendancy to show cracks over time on the seats... better to just save your money and buy some new covers or complete seats.

i dyed a set of bucket seats for my brothers Lemans a couple of years ago.

cleaned/scrubbed them with spray nine cleaner to get all crap off of them and then used black vinyl shoe dye on them. gave them multiple light coats and they look just as good today as they did when we first dyed them.
it worked for us so far so take it as it is.

by the way we went from light green to black.
