casting number

hey everyone i have a 73 vette iam pretty sure its numbers matching had people check it out just want some more info partial vin is stamped up front and the following v0926cla and on back are as follows
3970010 and build date is the only thing iam wondering about as far as i can read it is stamped L232 please someone help me out from this this tells me it was made dec 23 of 72 that could be right i guess

yes i do everything on car seems to be correct full frame off

sorry jake do you think that the build date code could be correct being from dec of 72 if the front number says sep 26 73 please explain a little confused
