Default Max rear tire width

I am just making sure I can run a 275/60/15 in the back of my '78.

will it fit a stock car? and will it fit with my new rear 360Lb spring lowered about an inch? anyone running them let me know. espesially if you are lowered!

thanks

I am running 275/60/15 on the rear and it works well and they fill up the rear wheel well nicely. The only problem I have is the fender rubbing ever so slightly on really hard bumps but this is because the wheels is moved out half an inch with a spacer to clear the caliper. If I wasn't running the spacers I would have no problem at all with an rubbing issues. What wheels are you running? If you are running stock wheels you shouldn't have a problem.

I am running these wheels... I am drawing a blank on who made 'em but they have been on the car since new and I believe they have an offset very close to stock...the car will be lower though..suspension arrived today!!!

check this out on the 275/60/15....looks like the only possible issue is the parking brake brakcet.

So Is anyone lowered with 275's in the back? And would you guys agree that these wheels have a stock offset?
