Welcome to the Forum! I am a new member myself. Great bunch of folks hang out here.

Seems like it...I used to check in here from time to time before I even bought the car...
Going to start sanding, get it ready to paint. Thinking about changing colors but hate the idea of all the disassembly.
Thought about adding a black lower half, like the factory c3s with the 2-tone silver/blue, red/claret, silver/dark silver...I like the idea of bright silver over gloss black. Good?
I'm new also. Would appreciate any pointers on the following: Just acquired 1978 SA Vette, 7,000 original miles. Everything is in great shape except age wear on carpet and seats. Is it best to replace carpet with new or is there a process for making the original look better? Replace original seats with new or refurbish originals? Do you know if the power antenna (does not work) operates from a fuse? How do you get that darn fuse box cover off, so that I can replace one that powers the clock? Many thanks to any and all.

electrical schematic, hope it helps. as far as carpet, seats, etc, depends on what you are aiming for: restoration or driver? MidAmerica, Zip, Ecklers all know exactly how to cash the checks you will end up writing...
Looks pretty nice. Sanding it ? I'm not sure where you are, but
in NH we call that a winter project. Don't be stupid
Nice weather should be for driving.
(look who's talking after 4 years of resto ... and currently sanding HIS vette down) http://NHvette.com/ftp/in/as_she_sits_05_12_06.jpg
Well, maybe the summer is your off season.
Good luck and welcome.
Welcome to the forum. These guys know way too much about the C3's (and they're willing to share the info). Nice looking car, also. And don't worry about being called stupid, most of us feel that way occasionally. I do most any time I have to post on here, but they straighten me out quick.
