Well I didn't shave the handles off persay but since the drivers side door doesn't open from the outside I'm installing a shaved handle kit and just disconnecting the hardware for the door handle. It was actually cheaper to get the kit than buy all the parts I would need to fix it back to normal. I figured the handles on the c3 were somewhat shaved already so I would just leave them for looks. Let me tell you from what I've done so far it is NO fun. Hopefully it will be worth it to walk up to the car, hit the key fob and have the doors pop open.
