I have bought another vette, I still have the 69 BB, and the 74 Ttop. but my father in law decided it was time for him to move on. I purchased his 55k mile 87 red on red. He has owned the car for the last 5 years and the family before him(which we know) has owned it for 5 years. The car is mint and is a pleasure to drive. It is not the same pleasure as the 69/74, but I can now drive to events that I wont even think of with the 69/74(out of state trips). PS, the 74 vette is still for sale!

Your 87 red coupe is a twin to the car I drove across country in 6 years ago. They are terrific cars to drive. Mine had the Z52 suspension, automatic with the performance axle. I got 27 mpg driving across country on Rte 66. They are alot of bang for the buck. Sold the car after the trip. You will enjoy the way that car handles.
