detailing question
guess i am bored and looking for something to do. i have a 77 and have noticed on some nicely painted cars the bumpers in front and rear (the vertical ones) had black tips. mine were painted solid with the car whenever. ? is can i just get some dupli-color black bumper paint and paint over the existing paint. just want it to look more original.

You can tell they have been repainted because the painter neglected
to do the little bumperettes in black.

When you choose your paint, look for satin or matt finish. I'm pretty sure they shouldn't be gloss.
