Default need some suggestions

Since ive converted mine to a vert, i now can no longer use the factory 81 seatbelts. Can someone suggest a belt/idea other then rope or duct tape i can use. ive seen posts here that someone used camaro seatbelt. what years and how do these install?

The camaro/firebird seatbelts come out out of the back seats of 94-02 model years, and have been used by other members instead of the outrageously priced corvette belts. They come complete with the retractor set up. I do not know what you would have to do to make them work in a Vert though...

I installed the 94' Camaro rear belts in my 71 convertible. There was already a seat belt bolt mount on the top of the wheel well. It just bolted on, took an hour since I had to take the seats out to get to the inside mounting bolt. Paid 25 bucks on ebay. Only problem is that they come around the seat instead of through it like the stock 71' shoulder belt. Makes it a little more difficult to grab the belt to latch it, but I just couldn't drive w/o a shoulder belt.
