Fender Trim
Does anyone have any pics of c3 with chrome fender trim. The type that goes on the lip of the fender. And before I get flamed it is to hide a crack that happend when my car jumped the curb if you have been following my post you know my a arm weld broke. I dont want to paint the car and this area is already fixed i just need to hide B and I fender trim sells the chrome trim but i was wanting to know if anybody had a pic of one.

Matt,
Leave the crack showing. It probably doesn't show from a block away and the molding will. The fender molding will be too "Tony Pepperoni".

What about the lip ? can't quite picture how that would work...

They have that rubber/chrome stuff at NAPA or Autozone that should stick right on the outer edge of the wheel lip.

Stick on molding will look worse than the crack. A bystander may not immediately notice the crack, but the molding will stick out like a sore thumb.

I was wondering the same thing. Do they make a metal/ stainless steel or chrome fenderwell preformed trim for a C3? I have a 74. Thanks

No havent had time to do anything yet hopefully in the next few weeks it will get done. What type of welder did you use to weld up the bracket.
