Default OT - No more rain!

Ok, just need to vent a bit... The weatherman says it's going to rain all weekend AGAIN! WTF!

The newspaper had a little graphic yesterday - since May 1st it's rained 32 out of 39 days! We've got 18 inches of rain since then and they're forecasting another inch this weekend weekend! Talk about crappy weather, June's nearly half over and we still haven't had any decent weather!

I think I'm going stir crazy from being stuck in the house!

Anyone want to come over and help me build an ark?

Check with your local officials but out here when we have drought conditions and watering cars and lawns is off limits you can still 'hand water'. If you get a small garden sprayer or large spray bottle and do not connect any type of hose and hand water then it is allowed. I will usually wash my car using a hand sprayer and about a half gallon of water to wash the whole car.

Unfortunately at the moment, it is raining everyday out here at the moment and like Maine Vette....I am starting to get impatient. It is usually clean in the morning so I should probably get out on the road now if I want to drive the vette today.

Stage 3 will hit Plano June 19th. No warnings, immediate fine.

Dunno about Rockwall, but in Plano you are still allowed to wash the car using a hose even at stage 3.

do the car washes have to close? that would not be good for the owners

The problem in Zwedes area is the lake they drink from never recovered from last year lack of rain. It's half full and going down quick. Once they are out, who know what the plan is. Zwede, I wonder if the guys in the gated communities over in Frisco are living by the same rules?

I am just 10 miles west of Marcus and we are still in ok shape with water, but no rain in 3 or 4 weeks.
