polishing windshield trim
B.
I think you can get white rouge (white red? as in two grits?) from Eastwood.
Personally; I would try clay...it wont matter if it got on the paint, metal or glass....claying is good for all of those.

It would be a lot easier to use the clay with the molding on the car.
but
butt...
Since the molding is off....use NOXOL. Its in a green bottle at part stores.
Its also called "7-metal polish" and is a liquid.
Use that with an old sock turned inside out....stick your hands in the socks like you are wearing gloves, this makes it very easy to polish small things...just like washing dishes...let dry...stick your hands in two more dry socks....then buff.
and; you can use the NOXOL on your polishing wheel....but, slow speed.
Those fast polishing wheels can grip, remove the trim from your hand, and sling it where you cannot find it anymore (remember that thread?)
Also;
If the polishing wheel takes it out of your hand...it might slice your hand severely...causing you to only be able to hold one beer at a time.
or worse;
put a slight kink in your molding/window trim
