Old tailights were starting to rust and worn from years of abuse from the weather... I went with these and think they look pretty good. All 4 light up when you hit the brakes... No reverse light ( who looks behind them anyway.

Now look at the new ones
I am partial to those, I have them on my 79 and they definitely set the car apart from the rest. I like them!
I don't like the bubble lights...just not my cup of tea. I just replaced my taillight lenses with stock replacements, I intend to change the backup lights out with another pair of new stock taillights. I have a set of tiny, square driving lights I found on clearance at Wal-Mart that I'll tuck under the rear bumper to serve as backups. As a bonus, they'll be a hell of a lot brighter.
I removed the bulbs. and taped of the ends and left them tucked up in the rear bumper.
You might want to get some zip ties to keep the loose ends from hitting the exhaust. It is not pretty when they melt, I ended up cutting mine out to clean up the installation.
