Default what are these?

i've been trying to find the cause of my electrical short that keeps killing my stop light fuses. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1414544

just curious what the black box is next to the fuse panel in the first pic and also what the white relay shaped thing is. (if it is a relay, what circuit is it on? it only has 3 terminals - i've only ever seen 4 and 5 post relays)

Thanks!

Well, the black thing is the buzzer for all your buzzing needs. Seatbelts, ignition key. Not sure what the white thing is for, tho.

edit. OK, this is a guess. Is there a tan and red wire to the white thing? Headlight warning buzzer.
Mike

If none of this works disconnect the turn signal switch conn. the flat one with around 10 wires and see if short stops if it does that will isolate a few things.

Since each year of Corvettes are just a little bit different it would be nice to include the year of your car in the post just to be a bit more clear and get better advise. I have a '71 and don't have either of those boxes that I know of.......at least not in that location.
