Default Sun visor problem

I bought and installed a new nylon bushing from Ecklers on the drivers side sunvisor in my 1980 to keep it from constantly dropping down. New bushing, same problem. Anyone found a solution? Thanks

I got mine from midamerica and worked just fine. It's been 3 years now and still holds up.

Had the same problem. Replaced bushing without results. Got to examinin g the visor arm and found it was cracked in the back. Replaced the arm and the visor doesn't move now.

Same problem, no solution. It improved after the bushing change, but I'm still constantly pushing it back up.

Had the same problem - bought the same replacement bushing from Ecklers - still have the same problem. Maybe Ecklers has a few quality control issues. I've been hesitant to buy another and end up only lighter in the wallet. Now, I just extend the visor and tuck it behind the rear-view mirror.
