Default New Toy Pics

Well, something has came over me and for some reason, I just thought I had to have a new motorcycle. I have not had a motorcycle for around 5 or 6 years. My last was a V65 Magna. It sat on the back porch for a long time. Long enough that I finally gave it to my father-in-law.

This is a VTX1800F Spec 3 model. I rode it home from the dealer yesterday and it had 1.4 miles on it when I got on it the first time. Last night when I parked it at 11:00 it had 184.0 miles that I added to it.

This is how far it was from the dealers door to my door. I had to stop at the 60 mile mark and turn loose of the grips for a minute. I had a death grip on the bike for the first hour or so. My right hand was going to sleep I had a hold of it so tight. I am pretty excited about it and can't wait to get out there and clean it up today and go for another ride. Woohoo!!!

I bet that thing get some serious mile per gallon. Great looking bike, but you were suppose to be saving your money for a LS1.

I had a V65 Magna. Bought it when they first came out in 83. Kept it until 90 when my wife got pregnant. I was gonna kill myself on that thing. Regularly redlined it and drove 100mph+, no one passed me. I bought my Harley Softale in '90. Now I cruise 55-65mph in the right lane, and wave at all the people that pass me. Probably saved my life.

Um, uh,

This would have more than paid for that little swap. I may have to start working SOME overtime to make up for it.

Congratulations Eddie! Nice ride. As for the MPG mentioned above, that thing is all about smiles per gallon and you'll get plenty of them. A word of caution on that note however, remember that when you are grinning (and you will) you always end up with bugs on your teeth so carry a toothbrush with you!

Just came in from a little clean up on it. Gonna get a shower and add a few miles today. Like Rolling Thunder says, its all about smiles per gallon with 1800 cc's. I will see if I can get a better shot of it somewhere today.

50 lbs of Wahoo? Hmm...Well, if you got to catch the Wahoo on a charter fishing trip, I'd say it was a good trade.

Riding is something I miss...Haven't done it in 10 years, after my old Honda 350XL died. I keep thinking that one of these days I'll pick up a sport bike and go riding again, but it all comes down to $$$.
