the three parts on the top right come as one unit and the plastic nuts hold them together got it form ecklers ,i dont remember were the bottom right one go gos .
i did it last year ,the thin shims go on under the thing with the plastic nuts.i had to put some tape in mine the part i got from ecklers the spring in it is weak its not a spring but works like one ,it would go off when i hit bumps or turned after i fixed it .the kit i got had that pin with the spring the gos in the hole on the left was longer then the one that was in there it didnt work till i put the longer one in.
that thing that looks like metal teeth is what makes the contacked and holds the cover, before you put the cover on push that and the horn will go off.
it looks like you need a book so you know what gos first,i am computer dummy or i would put it up for you .
I had the same problem with mine a little while ago, plastic riviets just shattered in there. I just replaced them with pop rivets with a small piece of rubber tubing over them for an insulator. I might have used the correct plastic riviets, but I couldn't find anything close locally and I didn't feel like placing an order online for $3+ some overpriced shipping fee. I'll never have to worry about the flimsy plastic breaking again either
Don't mean to hijack the thread, but there is a good chance the original poster will run into the same issue I am having, so it might be handy to two people.
I recently replaced all of the parts in the picture and the horn works perfectly without the cover on. Unfortunately, when I snap the cover into place, the horn blares continuosly until I take the cover off.
On the back side of the cover, there appear to be three slots that should line up with the arms for the three screws that hold the switch in place. I have lined those up but still the same issue.
Is there a shim I am missing somewhere or some adjustment I am overlooking? Thanks for any info.
