Default Painted Calipers?

Check on my profile to the left, what do you think about painted calipers.......how about the lettering. Let me know what you think.

i think they're a great looking detail. i'm partial to red but they look great in all colors. sure beats lookn at rusty calipers! those are calipers in yer pic, too small for my eyes, post a bigger pic

I like them too. I never understood why the factory never painted them. What kind of paint did you use?

Looks good! I recently painted mine red, i want to get "Corvette" letters on em. I used engine paint, works awesome. Also did a few C6's at work with DUpont Chromabase/clear and held up great too. Hold up to heat fine too.

I used high-temp engine paint:

I laid a coat of white down, put letters down (adhesive style), and then laid the red on top. And free-handed black around the white to bring it out of the red.

I'll work on getting bigger pic posted.
