Tires for a '69
I've got a cherry 1969 convertible. Just did a complete front end job and I need new tires. I would like to go with Goodyear or BF Goodrich, any recommendations?? I drive it an easy 1000 miles a year.
Thanks

Check out Tirerack, a forum vendor. Scroll down the list on the left. I've bought three sets from them for both of my 'vettes and the wife's DD. Excellent prices.

Are you using the stock Rally wheels? I have BFG 275-50-15 on the rear, 235-60-15 on the front....No clearance issues at all.....Been like that for the last 20 years!

Tires
I've got the knockoff wheels, and I was planning on replacing the tires with the P215-70 (on car now). I currently have BFG T/A Radials, they were purchased in about 1981(long time ago!). I guess my question should have been about tire quality. I have done little research and I'm thinking that technology has improved vastly since these 1981 TA's were made. I'm torn between new TA's or Goodyear Eagles. Any advice is appreciated.
I will post a picture when it comes off the stands.
Thank you.

Both are great tires you cant go wrong with either one.As far as sizes i would go with 255/60-15 all around.I have that size on my 70 and the ride is great.
