for some odd reason my 79 vette dosen't start after i had just driven it, what could cause this, could it be the starter or the distriburator getting hot. anyone know what causes this? pleas and thanks for any help
i wonder how much a high performance starter and distriburator would cost maybe that would solve my starting problems, also like to say thanks for the help and sorry if i don't spell distriburator right
If this happens after you've driven it, then it's MOST LIKELY because the solenoid on the starter is too hot. I tried everything from wraps to shields and nothing worked. Replaced with a "mini-starter" and a wrap and she starts every time.
