remember Zbar rust proofing? that stuff really works
i was looking over the vette this afternoon and came to realise how well this stuff actually works. the firewall and windshield pillars were Zbard 20 some years ago, and then the car went to sit in a damp garage for that time.
not even really surface rust in the areas it flaked off
and now things get ugly. my dad said he regrets not zbaring the frame when he restored it after a major accident.
just thought some of you may find this interesting.

Looks like it made quite a difference, too bad the repaired section wasn't done.
If I remember right, wasn't their rust-proofing pretty expensive?
