I've been trying to get this thing all day now. I'm about ready to pass out but I NEED to get it out. I've removed 3 flexplate bolts. 6 bellhousing bolts. Both motor mounts. There is something still.... attached, somewhere.
The automatic transmission bellhousing is still attached to the block (or seems to be) just above where the starter motor was. All of the bellhousing bolts are gone. I can see that the engine is disengaged from the torque converter. I tried crowbarring the hell out of it, but it's attached at that bellhousing location and will not come free. When I use the hoist, it lifts the car. Please tell me what I am forgetting!
Probably stuck on the block dowel pins. Support the trans with a floor jack under the pan, pick up on the engine until the engine is free to move laterally. Keep wiggling the engine side to side. it will seperate.

You may have to loosen the tranny mounts and get under there and kick the tail end to ge the dowel pins to let go.
