Console Panel Fabrication

Any of you try fabricating some new center console panels out of 1/4" plywoud or maybe some aluminum instead of the old original cardboard. Mine need replaced and I was just looking for some better alternatives.

Mine are made out of masonite. Its flexible, cheap and perfectly smooth on one side to glue the carpet on.

I used louon wood the stuff you would put under linoleum flooring just a little thinner. Worked great

used the same thing, had a few scraps in my brother's garage and popped em out with the jigsaw in minutes.
