Default 1978 emblems

Did all 1978 Corvettes come with the 25th Aniversary emblems? Are all 1978 Corvettes silver aniversary editions, if not what is the difference between a 1978 Corvette and an aniversary edition? I am going to look at one tomorow and was wondering what to look for
Thanx

ALL 78 Vettes are silver anny's and have the same emblem. There was a special paint silver anny that we all know as the two tone gray/sliver but the answer to your ? is yes they all have the same emblems.Beleive it or not a guy down the street bought a two tone 78 and had it repainted yellow on top and black on bottom. He needs to be slapped. The car sits outside all the time and he never drives it anymore

1st. All 78's were "Anniversary Editions" and came with the 25th anniversary emblems.
2nd. Silver Anniversary was a two tone paint scheme "RPO B2Z".
3rd. There were 15,283 "Silver Anniversary" cars produced which comprised about 1/3 of the total production for the year. (They are not "rare" in other words.)

This thread got me thinking
Last week I was at a car show and there was a guy with a 73 vert
He had the L48 badge mounted on the rise of the hood as an L82 badge would be mounted but it was about 4 inches closer to the cowl than the normal L82 mount

I have never seen a L48 badge on a 73 (or any year) Corvette
Anybody ever seen a stock L48 badge on a C3?

The old girl is about due for paint but she is a blast to drive.

I got mine in March last year and have put over 15,000 miles on it since then. Needless to say I drive it every chance I get.
