New 71 Project Owner
Hi everyone,
Just saying hello, as I am the new proud owner of a 71 Coupe, and will be eventually be looking for much info on putting it back together. Originally was a LS5/4SP/no AC, no PS, no PB car, and was torn apart about 10-12 years ago. Orig motor is gone, I will need to ID the trans, some rebuilding has been done (rear end, front control arms and rear trailing arms) and has boxes and boxes of new and NOS bits. Gonna be a chore, but I have always wanted a bumper car, so hey.
ANyway, as I get into this, I'll post pics and get input. I know Chevys, but have never worked on a Vette before. This should be fun.

That should be a challenge, sort of like a gigantic jig-saw puzzle.

Work is insanity, this is supposed to be therapy, right?
Putting this together will be more like building a model without the instructions! Wouldn't be bad, but I didn't take it apart! Luckily the prev owner is a friend and documentaion is plentiful for these.
