Default Rear valance panel

Hi-- I currently have the body off the frame of my 1968 convertable BB . I took the rear valance panel off before I took the body off. My question is-- can I glass the rear panel in and still install the body back on? Does it need need the extra room for the gas tank. I installed side pipes and need to fill the area in anyway. Thanks for your advice.

I think it needs to be off to get the body on then you can glass it in and hope to never do a body off again.

Get a repro 69-up valance w/fillers for the exhaust and sell your 68 valance and backup lights. These are rare 1 year only parts.

Uhhhh...... what I meant to say is that 68 valences are so common that people usually throw them away. I'll do you a favor and send you a 69 repro and you can send me those useless 68 parts, I'll see to it that they are disposed of properly
