Wheels need help
How can I clean up or paint to improve looks? Don't want the expense of new wheels and like the looks of these but they are dull and in need of something...any ideas...please

you can lookinto powder coating but i think you still have to sand them down to the bare aluminum...

Can you try to do it in Photoshop or some software like that before you actually paint them? Take a picture of the wheels and "paint" them on the computer.
I am computer stupid so I can't tell you how to do it but I have seen other guys on this forum do it when they were trying to decide on what color to paint their cars. Gives you a chance to see it before you do it and no harm if you screw up, just erase and start over.
Just a thought,
Kurt

paint the inside, gunmetal, dark gray or black and polish the spokes, it'll look killer...I used to have a pic of a red car w/ that done, it was stunning (but of course I can't find the pic)

i would just black out the inners...no red line....... polish the face of the fin and you should be good to go....... not sure on type of paint but i'm sure you might be able to do a high gloss powdercoat.... might run around 400 for the set to p-coat.....

I'd do it without the red line...It reminds me of those Tireflys that I've seen some of the ricers run.
But some black and then a polish along the outside edges...I think that'd be nice & sharp.

Would look good inverting the colors too...spokes black and inside polished or even red may look wicked.
