Well my parents just returned from San Antonio where they were asked to bring a Customer's '54 "Survivor". The pics are "OK" but keep in mind these are indoor pics so the quality isn't 100%.
There are 38 pics toptal so I'll post the highlights and you can fgollow the link for the rest.
thanks for the pics! Was the 54 judged or just displayed?
The 54 is already NCRS correct (according to them and Bloomington) it is the most correct '54 Corvette on the planet. They wanted to use it as a reference and also the owner wanted the publicity because it will be sold at Barrett-Jackson in January.
Hey,
That's me (blue shirt) behind the Commander '66 in the last photo. The guy on the right side is standing behind the 'Maroon '67 L88 belonging to Buddy Herin. Great stories behind both cars, both owners great to talk with. The L88 drove through the Convention hall on Sat.--AWSOME!!
Many excellent cars there. Quite a few original owners. Lots of cars driven to San Antonio; one from Seattle, several from Ca.. Great to see these cars driven vrs. trailer queens. Original owner of a '64 FI cp. drove in from Ca.--averaged 19 MPG.
My favorite moments were 1) First day, all cars outside for Operations check. 2) last afternoon, when all cars filed out of the building.

Very , I REALLY wanted to attend but I was stuck at the hospital. My father was disappointed he didn't hear the L88's fire up. That's him in the white hat standing next to the grey '71.
