Default Circuit Board

I'll soon be refreshing some of the interior in my 1979 - console and instrument bezels, lenses, vents, etc. "While I'm at it" and have the gauge cluster out, I thought I would replace all the bulbs and the circuit board. Will the (original) circuit board come off easily, or are they glued on? Thanks for your help.

It'll come off easily. It's held on by the bulb sockets & the gauge attachment points.

I am not sure if the 79 is the same as the 80 but I have both circuit boards that are in working order from my 80. If you need them I'll give them to you for free. I have no use for them, I was planning on thowing them away.

11JAKE

Thanks for the offer but I've already purchased the boards.

Ratflinger

Thanks for the good news. "Corvette" and "easily" are two words that usually are not in the same sentence.

If you are just going to toss them would you mind sending the center guage circuit board my way? Several of my copper lines have separated from the clear plastic. I have them taped down so they don't contact any of the metal from the guage pan.
