hey guys anyone ever seen or made their own "scoop" we'll call it to funnel some more air to the radiator. I was thinking it wouldnt be too hard with some sheet metal. Just looking for ideas at this point though. Post a picture if you've got one. I'd really appreciate it.

I know there is a guy on the forum who has done that. Can't remember his name but he has an old 50's chevy on his avatar.

Is your factory air dam still there? It makes a big difference.

yep its there...i think it would just look really cool, as well as cool my temps down a bit i'm not crazy about running at 220 all the time and my cooling system was just redone

if your running at 220 there sounds like something else is going on here. mine runs at 198, i have all the foam gaskets sets around the raidator and schroud,,if any of those are missing,you wont be pulling air thru the radiator,some will go around it,,check all those foam seals,,also the plastic scoop on the bottom of car directs air into the radiator

ya know that small one is just what i had in mind...the other looks to snowplowish...but the other version is perfect. I'd pay ya to make me one if your interested. Thanks.
