anyone with a nice front end?
I am ready to buy front grilles and bumper brackets for the 72. I will keep an eye on ebay but would like to hear your experiences on these parts. As you all know the front grilles are very expensive as are the lower bumper brackets (?). Are these renewable? Mine are rough.
Let me know what you did when you redid your front end....

anyone out there with experience and knowledge and pics of their improved and shiny front? Surely someone wants to show off their hard work and tell us about it?

If your parts are intact (regardless of condition), they can probably be salvaged for less than replacement costs. I think each side of the grill is going for about $500....without the inserts and lights. The amber lenses for the parking lights are available, but the chrome is hard to come by. Fortunately, the chrome on my '71 was in decent shape and I was able to clean it up and repaint the "cast iron" areas. If you have the center grill, you have a prize...because they are nowhere to be found. A good plating shop can fix damaged metal with fill-ins and copper plating prior to chrome. Good luck.
