Have any of you guys done this or seen a C3 with C5 mirrors? Do you have to mod the C5 mirror mounting base to get the mirror to sit like it were made for the C3?
what a terrible thought.. you should be ashamed...
here's an idea nOOb !! why don't you take one of the rear view mirrors from a ford F350 and stick it on your nissan sentra with JB weld... might work for ya

What year is your C-3? Is it modified? My 71' is modified and I thought about a similar mirror swithch, I stayed with the original chrome mirrors cause they seem to work with the other chrome on the car.

Thats pretty funny.........especially since he tried to pull the "noob" card and it backfired.
Personally I don't think it would look all that bad. Think about it....people do wheel, seat, and engine swaps from later model vettes all the time so why exclude the mirrors??
I just bought a '75 with a 427 big block (originally a '68 Chevelle 396 SS engine). The original mirrors are wimpy and I thought the later model C3 mirrors should work just fine.
BTW - I am thinking about replacing the Turbo 400 tranny with a r700 and upgrading the suspension. After looking at the various rear end ratios, I think the 3.36 sounds like a good compromise.
