I just got done installing Hooker Supercomp headers and sidepipes with the JetHot stainless finish. I used some vaseline when slipping on the pipes to help with alignment. After running the car some of that lube came out onto the pipe and got burned on. I was at a parts store today and saw some metal polishes but most were from chrome and none mentioned a coated finish. Unfortunately my care instructions are nowhere to be found. What's the best cleaner to use with the JetHot coating? I'd hate to use the wrong thing and find out the wrong way.

Step 1- Remove the sidepipes and reinstall using Anti-sieze between the pipes and headers. Otherwise, you will never get them apart later.
For cleaning, I use Mother Billet Aluminum polish. Works pretty well. For tough stains, I apply the polish and rub gently with 0000 grade steel wool. Then take the polish off with a terry cloth towel. I also keep on old polish towel impregnated with that black residue in the car so I can hit any really bad spots quickly (say after running thru a puddle).
