I have an extra set of Power Beam Headlights for my 74. Are they better than standard replacements?

I believe the power beams are the replacements. The next step up would be to Halogen bulbs.

 

Are these true AC "Power Beam" headlights? These would have a circular logo in the center of the lens with the word "Power Beam" in it. I wouldn't say they are better but they are getting very hard to come by if they are. Save them for show (ie NCRS) they are worth about $80 bucks a set.
