I purchased a 1978 vett that needs a little work. I noticed that when the car is turned off some of the guages dont drop down, For instance the tach goes to about 800 and the oil pressure looks like its at about 15 or 20. When I turn the ignition on they all drop down and when running they all seem fine once turned off they float back up.

They just don't want to be shut off, they're like the energizer bunny they want to keep going and going
